Guangdong Museum holds a special exhibition of painting and calligraphy from the Song and Yuan dynasties. Many precious paintings and calligraphy from the two dynasties collected by eight public cultural institutions and museums have been put on display at the event.

正在广东省博物馆展出的《绘冠南天——粤藏宋元书画特展》汇聚八家公共文博机构的宋元书画珍品。

Among them, there is a classic calligraphy work from the Palace Museum titled "The Bower of Contentment (Zu Xuan)" by Bai Yuchan.

有三件来自故宫博物院的书法经典作品——宋拓王沇本《兰亭序》、“宋书殿军”张即之《台慈帖》、白玉蟾《足轩铭》。

He was the first truly influential painter and calligrapher in Lingnan and The Bower of Contentment is one of his rare authentic works still relevant. Chen Zhiping, a professor at Jinan University, interpreted the calligraphy at the exhibition.

白玉蟾是岭南第一位真正意义有影响力、较早扬名于岭外的书画家，《足轩铭》则是他当下可见、可信的绝少真迹之一。暨南大学教授陈志平在展览现场解读了这件书法珍品。
