“一带一路”建设需要“高大上”，也需要“小而美”。

从总体布局的“大写意”到精谨细腻的“工笔画”，“一带一路”倡议在协同合作中蓬勃发展，在推动全球发展中成效显著，已成为深受欢迎的国际公共产品和范围最广、规模最大的国际合作平台。

十年共建时光见证，“高大上”项目为共建国家和地区蓬勃发展注入强劲内生动力；“小而美”项目让“一带一路”沿线民众更有获得感、幸福感。

十年共建成果显现，一条便道，带来了产业兴旺发展的机遇；一座电站，点亮了千家万户的未来；一口水井，保障了沿线民众的身体健康；一套住房，承载了人民安居乐业的祈望；一粒种子，敲开了脱贫致富的“幸福门”；一段音乐，搭起了通往孩童内心的“彩虹桥”……

在“千丘之国”卢旺达、在“中亚水塔”吉尔吉斯斯坦、在“万象之邦”老挝、在“稀土之国”莫桑比克、在“人间天堂”马尔代夫，在那里的城镇、乡村，一个个“小而美”项目落地生根、茁壮成长……

聚焦发展、改善民生，蕴含希望的“小而美”项目让沿线人民同呼吸、共命运，“一带一路”民心工程的成果和先行作用愈发凸显，“民心相通、命运与共”的愿景更显清晰。

Small BRI projects: Model of people-to-people bonding

The Belt and Road construction involves both large and small projects.

The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) has flourished through collaboration and yielded fruitful results in catalyzing global common development. It has become a popular global public goods and the largest international cooperation platform.

In the past decade, the joint construction of the Belt and Road has yielded fruitful results. Large projects have channeled strong energy into the development of relevant countries and regions, while small projects have enhanced the sense of gain and happiness of people along the Belt and Road routes.

The achievements of the past decade prove that a road can bring opportunities for industrial prosperity; a power station can light up the future of thousands of households; a well can protect the health of people nearby; a house can fulfill people’s hope of living in peace and contentment; a seed can open the door to wealth and prosperity; a piece of music can warm children’s hearts.

Small projects have taken root and thrived in many towns and villages of the Belt and Road countries, including Rwanda, the “Land of A Thousand Hills”, Kyrgyzstan, the “Water Tower in Central Asia”, Laos, the “Land of Ten Thousand Elephants”, Mozambique, the “Land of Rare Earth”, and Maldives, the “Paradise on Earth”.

Small projects aimed at stimulating development and improving people’s livelihood have brought people along the Belt and Road routes together with a shared future. These projects have scored greater success and played an increasingly prominent role, further highlighting the vision of “building people-to-people bond for a shared future”.
