菲利克斯·米勒和他的汽油动力自行车
Felix Millet received a patent for a‘Gasoline Bicycle’ named ‘Soleil’ (Sun). It had an extraordinary 5-engine incorporated into the rear wheel and developed 2/3 bhp, with a top speed of 34 mph. Millet used a rotating handlebar twistgrip for its operation. It was started with pedals so the motorcycle could be moved even after engine failure.
1888年12月22日，菲利克斯·米勒（Felix Millet）获得了名为“太阳”（Soleil）的“汽油动力自行车”（Gasoline Bicycle）专利。它的后轮装有一个特别的“5”引擎，输出功率为2/3 马力，最高时速为34英里/小时。米勒使用旋转把手扭柄进行操作。它是用踏板启动的，因此即使在发动机发生故障后，“汽油动力自行车”仍可以行驶。
