亨利·福特获得了塑料材质车身汽车专利
Henry Ford patented a plastic-bodied automobile. The car was 30% lighter than a regular car. Plastic was a relatively new material in 1942. It is believed the plastic was made from soybean, so that car was also called the soybean car. Today most car bodies are still made of metal, but plastic parts are becoming more and more common.
1942年1月13日，亨利·福特获得了一款塑料材质车身汽车的专利。这辆车比普通汽车的重量轻30%。在1942年，塑料还是一种相对较新的材料，据说这种塑料是用大豆制成的，因此这种车也被称为大豆汽车。今天，大多数汽车车身仍然是由金属制成，但塑料部件正变得越来越普遍。
