关于性别差异这个题材，雅思写作出现过如下题目：
男女是否应该平均分担家务？（2014/5/1）
男女员工数量是否应该相等？（2011/11/15）
有些工作是否只能由男性做？（2010/4/15）
家庭煮男越来越多的原因（2017/12/14）
这些题目与本次都不太相同，最为接近的应该是2010年4月15日的题目，但与本次考题有不小的差异。
解析与思路
本题涉及因果关系，即：因为男女素质（qualities）不同，所以有些工作适合男性，有些工作适合女性。
这个题目可以讨论的范围非常宽，观点也可以多种多样。
我们可以否定这个原因，不承认男女素质不同，当然也就否认了结果，这样，我们的结论就是：没有什么工作适合所有女性，也没有什么工作适合所有男性，不同工作可能适合不同的人，但不应该用性别来区分。
我们可以承认男女素质不同，但并不同意工作有性别之分，即男女都可从事任何工作。
我们也可以承认男女素质不同，同时也同意工作有性别之分，但前提是工作没有高低贵贱之分。
本范文采取第三种写作思路。

Though many hardcore feminists maintain that men and women cannot be differentiated in terms of their qualities and so it is pointless to make the distinction between jobs for men and jobs for women, I strongly believe that this distinction makes sense and in many cases, benefits both men and women.
Physically men are often stronger than women, so construction workers are mostly men, for working in construction sites is extremely demanding physically. Likewise, the long-distance truck drivers are also predominantly men. In the old days when people wrote letters, the mails were delivered by men, so we have the expression "delivery boy", which indicates that men are more suitable to do this job.
For another example, soldiers in the battlefield are most likely men, especially young men, because only they have the strength to win the battle. Joan of Arc and Hua Mulan are exceptions, but then they are regarded as godlike or legendary.
There are, of course, jobs more suitable for women. As we can see, more and more positions in primary schools and hospitals are held by women, because they are usually more patient than men. Secretaries are also often women, for such positions require great organizational and interpersonal skills at which women are always better than men.
When we talk about the jobs that are suitable for men and women, however, we should avoid going so far as to think that a certain job is exclusive to men or women. Furthermore, we should not give different weight to the jobs mostly done by men or women. Just as doing construction work is no more or no less important than taking care of patients in hospital, all jobs, either suitable for men or for women, are equally valuable.
