Grandma Hen was searching for the bedtime book that she and Lola Chick had been reading at bedtime. But she couldn’t find it.

“Where did our book go?” Grandma Hen asked.
“Here’s our book,” said Lola Chick, picking it out from a pile of books.
The next evening, Grandma Hen was again searching for their bedtime book.
“Where did that book run off to?” asked Grandma Hen.
“One moment,” said Lola Chick. She went to the living room and found the book.
Then Lola Chick saw a small pillowcase and got an idea. She grabbed the pillowcase and put the book inside.

Lola Chick went back to her room with her book inside the pillowcase.
“This is for us,” said Lola Chick.
“A book pillow!” said Grandma Hen. “What a great idea. Now we know exactly where our bedtime book is. Thanks, Lola Chick. ”
