Unit6 I’m going to study computer science. Section A(1a—1c)教学设计 一教材分析 本节课是人教版八年级上册Unit6 I’m going to study computer science .(1a—1c),是本单元第一课时。主要内容是学习关于职业的单词以及be going to 的用法,用一般将来时谈论未来自己和他人理想的职业,为实现理想做出的打算和安排,目的是通过对人生理想的讨论使学生不仅对未来的憧憬,而且要从现在起为自己的理想而奋斗。 二教学目标 (一)知识与能力 1能够会读,会写,能听出,会说出的单词: cook, doctor , engineer, violinist, driver, pilot, pianist, scientist. 2会用以下句型表达自己的梦想的职业,能用下列句型和别人进行关于梦想的话题交流。 (1)---What do you want to be when you grow up ? ---I want to be a basketball player. (2)---How are you going to do that ? ---I’m going to practice basketball every day. 3了解并会用be going to 结构表示将来时的用法。 4能用以上词汇,句子以及已有知识谈论未来职业和实现理想的举措。 (二)过程与方法 利用自主学习,brainstorm ,contrasting和role-playing 的学习策略, 利用课件教学,pair work,竞赛等活动,进行课标词汇教学与练习。 本课时的教学法:语音教学---让学生进行模仿操练;词汇教学---采用头脑风暴或图片演示的方式进行教学,,口语教学---采用pair work 问答式的口语交际活动互相操练;听力教学---采用连线和对话获取关键词。 (三) 情感态度和价值观 通过本课时的学习,使学生产生参与话题讨论的强烈愿望,对英语学习产生浓厚的兴趣,使学生思考自己的理想职业,激发学生为理想而努力的动机。通过相互询问,增进同学之间的了解和友情并学会在英语交流中关注他人的情感。 三教学重难点 (一)1能够会读,会写,能听出,会说出的单词: cook, doctor , engineer, violinist, driver, pilot, pianist, scientist. 2运用be going to ,want to be结构。 3就未来职业话题分角色表演。 (二)难点 运用be going to ,want to be结构谈论未来职业和实现理想的举措 四教学策略 本课时的教学法:语音教学---让学生进行模仿操练;词汇教学---采用头脑风暴或图片演示的方式进行教学,让学生在理解中理解并掌握新单词,口语教学---采用pair work 问答式的口语交际活动互相操练;听力教学---采用连线和对话获取关键词。 教学过程 Step 1 lead in . 1.Let students watch a talent show about robots.(To make students excited and active).T:The show about robots is great.I think the computer programmer are great ,too. Maybe I’m going to study computer science .Tell students,today we will learn Unit 6 I’m going to study computer science (1a—1c). (设计意图:机器人视频表演能够激发学生的学习兴趣,自然导入本课话题:I’m going to study computer science) 2 .Brainstorm.Competition. Write down the jobs you know. Who writes the most is the winner? (设计意图:提高学生的竞争意识,参与意识,提高学习积极性) Step 2 Presentation Let students look at the pictures about jobs: ask what does he/she do ?Practice the dialogue using the jobs. Then introduce new words by using the pictures, teach more new words by guessing the jobs. Show : cook, doctor , engineer, violinist, driver, pilot, pianist, scientist. (通过展示关于职业的图片,教新单词,通过猜测职业教新单词,激发学生的学习兴趣) Step 3 1a Let students to finish activity 1a. There are many jobs . Talk about the jobs.Ask: What do you think is the most interesting?What is the least interesting? Let students talk about them . (设计意图:通过训练,巩固所学的新单词) Ask: Do you want to be…? Practice the dialogue using the pictures.Ask some students about the question.Then tell students :work hard ,and you can make your dream come true.(情感教育:努力,就有收获。) Show some pictures about myself and my son, introduce my dream and his dream .Tell students:I’m going to be…, I’m going to do…;he is going to be …, he is going to do…. (设计意图:为下一步提问What are you going to be, How are you going to do 及应答做准备) Step 4 Ask and answer in pairs. Ask students: What are you going to be when you grow up ? T: I’m going to be... Ask students: How are you going to do that? T: I’m going to ...Ask some students one by one ,then ask them to practice in pairs. Next ask some students to act the dialogue. When they practice it,show some pictures ( by ppt)to help them.They can use the information in the pictures. Step 5 1b Tell students: There are some students talking about their dream jobs .Let’ listen carefully. Fill in the blanks and match them. Check the answers. (设计意图:培养学生听的能力,完成1b) Step 6 Summary Tell students: Different people have different dreams. But we all know a good plan is a good start to success. So hold on to your dream ,and your dream will come true.(ppt) (情感教育:好的计划是成功的开始,坚持你的梦想,并为之努力,梦想就会成真。) Let students summarize what they learn in this lesson. Then show the important points by ppt. (1)---What do you want to be when you grow up ? ---I want to be ... (2)---How are you going to do that ? ---I’m going to ... Step7 Exercises 1.Choose the best answer from the four answers.(单项选择) (设计意图:检查学生对课堂短语,基本句型的掌握情况。) 2.Let students say the words by cards. (设计意图:检查学生对课堂新授单词的掌握情况。) 3.Writing Make a survy about your best friend’ dream job, how is he/she going to do? Ask some students to read their compositions. (设计意图:引导学生之间的理解,交流,同时检查学生对本节课目标句型的运用情况,) Homework (Writing ) Do you care about your parents? Do you know your father’s dream job/your mother’s job? Please write a composition :My father’ dream job(My mother’s dream job) 提示:My mother’s dream job is … (设计意图:引导学生关爱家人,促进家人间的交流,为下一节课语言目标的使用做准备)
