2022年3月，《关于推荐“2022世界人工智能大会青年优秀论文奖”参评论文的通知》发布，面向全球高校、科研院所、企业开展人工智能领域青年优秀论文征集活动，来稿踊跃，至征稿截止，共收到海内外72家知名机构参评论文155篇，包括国际相关知名高校、科研机构、企业。经专家初评，遴选出20篇论文进入终评。

8月8日，召开“2022世界人工智能大会青年优秀论文奖”终评会议，中国工程院院士、国家新一代人工智能战略咨询委员会组长潘云鹤主持了终评会议。经终评委员会投票表决，最终评选出“2022世界人工智能大会青年优秀论文奖”论文10篇，提名奖论文10篇。名单公示如下：
