Siemens Mobility Supports Beijing Metro’s FAO mass Transit Line
西门子交通近日与合作伙伴北京纵横机电科技有限公司(纵横机电)共同赢得北京轨道交通19号线一期工程全自动列车牵引系统项目,将为该线路的25列全自动列车提供牵引系统。
Siemens Mobility was recently awarded the fully automated propulsion system solutions for Beijing Mass Transit Line19Phase I project,together with local partner Beijing Zongheng Electro-Mechanical Technology Co.Ltd(ZEMT),to provide propulsion systems for25fully automated trains.
该项目全长约22.4公里,设站10座,设计时速120km/h。线路南段与新机场快轨相连,堪称新机场线的城内段。
The project covers a distance of about22.4km across10stationswith a designated speed of120km/h.Itssouthern section is connected with the new airport speed railin Beijing.
项目预计2020年底开通,线路将采用最高级别GOA4无人驾驶及以太网列车网络控制技术,最大限度实现牵引系统的智能化运行。
Scheduled for operation at the end of2020,the line is expected to employ highest level of GOA4FAO and Ethernet-based train control system to make propulsion system intelligent to the maximum extent.

ADB To Open Singapore Office
亚洲开发银行(亚行)将在新加坡设立办事处,以扩大其私营部门业务。
The Asian Development Bank(ADB)will open an office in Singapore to support the expansion of its private sector operations.
亚行驻新加坡办事处预计将于今年下半年开业,结构精简且业务集中,共有来自私营部门业务局和公共—私营部门合作办公室的员工12名。
ADB’s Singapore office is expectedto openin the second half of this year,and will be a lean and focused office with12staff including staff from its Private Sector Operations Department(PSOD)and Office of Public–Private Partnership.
该办事处将促进亚行与项目发起方、承包商、顾问、金融投资者、其他国际金融机构和专业服务供应商之间的合作,帮助实现这一增长目标。
The Singapore office will help achieve this growth by making it easier to efficiently engage with project sponsors,contractors,advisors,financiers,other international financial institutions,and professional service providers.

Last year,ADB’s PSOD operations covered32transactions amounting to$3.1billion out of$21.6billion total commitments of loans and grants.

摩根大通宣布今年借助人工智能技术,解锁新的校招方式。应聘摩根大通的应届生,除了需要在网申过程中提供一段录像外,还需要完成一项基於行为科学的在线游戏。
J.P.Morgan just announced that the firm will start to use AI technology in this year’s campus recruiting.Besides a pre-recorded video interview,candidate will need to interact with a series of new behavioral science-based online games called pymetrics in theapplication process.
这项在线游戏并不是一项“考试”,因此也没有所谓正确或错误的答案。摩根大通表示希望以此营造一个更加公平的竞争环境,消除招聘时可能存在的偏见。
Pymetrics isn’t a test.The concept behind it is that there is no right or wrong answer,no‘smart’vs‘not smart’.With this new initiative,J.P.Morgan tries to mitigate bias in the recruiting process,making hiring better for everyone.

耐克盈利欠佳但营收增长
Nike Misses On Earnings But Beats On Revenues
耐克第四财季运动鞋和运动装备销量超华尔街预期,帮助其营收增长4%,略高于100亿美元。
Nike sold more sneakers and sports gear during the fiscal fourth quarter than Wall Street expected,helping to boost revenues by4%to just over$10billion.

Nike earne d62cents a share on an adjusted basis during the three months ended May31,short of Wall Street’s forecast for66cents a share,according to average analysts’estimates compiled by Refinitiv.

The company said its profit margins were hurt this quarter partially because of investments to sell more directly to consumers and less through wholesalers.Nike has had to sell more of its products directly to customers as retailers like Sports Authority have filed for bankruptcy,and department stores are struggling.
