此件香薰以精炼紫铜所铸，采用古法石蜡法铸造，造型规整，以瓜棱状作壶身，顶面以錾刻鎏金祥云五幅图，通体六瓣瓜棱，顶盖以拉丝透雕缠枝双龙纹侧边以透空回纹做装饰，錾刻工艺精湛，中外双边两侧一耳柱，顶圈一弧形提梁，提梁之上錾刻缠枝花卉，底部有倒模印款楷书“乾隆年制”，包浆传世痕迹显著，堪称皇室御用精品。
